@Engin: It could be a firewall issue. Some servers are setup to block outgoing traffic that is initiated on the server on port 80 (=http). What kind of server are you running on? Hosting site / local install, Intranet etc ?

@Engin: Many users have installed it and are using it successfully on their servers. Not sure what could be the problem on your side. The module uses the file_get_contents() PHP function which is pretty standard. I think it's been included in PHP since version 4.2.

Which PHP version do you use?
Which eBay Module exactly are you using? I want to check out the code for that one and see what it does differently.

PS! List class menu is applicable on Joomla-R-US. Your page template might not have that defined.

eBay Factory Module 1.7.5 / PHP version 5

I am sure it works with other user sites. I see that it works on your demo site.I just wanted to point out it didn't work on our site. Maybe it is due to some little adjustment we haven't done. I do not have any knowledge on script side, I am just the site editor.

Thank you for your concern and respond. Over roll it is good module for help wanted sites.

@Engin: I've changed the URL grabber in the code. It should be more robust. Please download 0.9.5 and give it a try. Let me know if it works for you or not.

When you click on a link it says "can't find link". this what happens when you click on the link:
orangecounty.craigslist.org//cto/1384279524.html
Notice the extra forward slash before "cto"? Take it out and it works fine. I don't know what happened but it was working fine before.
Thanks,
Rich

Great product, but something happened and now when you follow a craigslist link out of my site it adds my http:// to the site link???
Anyone know what happened??

Example: http://snaznews.snazflash.com/...93541.html

When it should be just this:http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/ctd/1644693541.html

hi. i'm having a small issue with the craigslist links in mod_craigslist_v1_2_1. everything shows up correctly in the module on my site. however, the links add the craigslist url i programmed in the module to the href.

ex. (in joomla admin/craigslist module) craigslist url: http://newyork.craigslist.org/rfh/
(on site) links look something like this: http://newyork.craigslist.org/...10341.html

how can i refer the link only to the second part of the url?

thanks!
