... @Waldemar: SQL 2 Excel Pro now has a built-in Scheduler which allows you to schedule automatic emails with Excel Spreadsheets as attachments (or as links). |

... Suggestion: what about integration with EventList? For example, one could click on an event, and there would be a button for "download attendance information as spreadsheet". It would be great to be able to retrieve reports for attendance over a period of time (such as attendance for training in a sport season) but I think I can do that without integration Nice tool! |

... Hi mate, Just played with the EventList query - my suggestion still stands... Thanks for making the free version available! Albert |

... There's a sample EventList report that you can download on the Sample Reports page. But you seem to have figured it out already Great! Regarding the tighter integration. EventList doesn't seem to have open plugin standard that third party developers like me can leverage to add functionality. You will have to take it up with the EventList developers and see if they can do an add-on to EventList. SQL 2 Excel Pro does have a feature called "Workbook Parameters" which allows you to create parametrized reports. For instance you can create a SQL-based parameter which lists your Events. The user will be prompted to select event when clicking on the download link. You can the build a report which only returns the records/users etc for the selected event. |
