You can export your reports in CSV as well as HTML formats with SQL 2 Excel Pro. The download format is configurable for each individual  Workbook which gives you total flexibility.

• There are a lot of tools that accept CSV files as inputs so this feature enables you to serve more than Excel users with data from your Joomla reports. Excel row limit is 65536 rows. A CSV file does not have such restrictions.
  
  

• HTML format can be used for various things, such as embedding into other pages in an iFrame, copy and paste into a Word document or use it together with an Excel Web Query.
  
  
• Note! Only the main SQL query defined for the Workshet is included in the CSV or HTML output. Extracells, Header & Footer are not included.
  
  
• By default, the first Worksheet in your report is output. You can however output a specific Worksheet if you want by adding &sheet=[sheet_id] to the URL. More info.

You can define how the linefeeds are handled for each output format under SQL 2 Excel Pro > Settings > Writers.
